Best Rated Transport is an online transport comparison site. Our site has been custom built in Australia, owned by an Australian family & proudly run by Australian staff. Our site is for the Australian Transport Market only. We’re open until 7pm most nights – 1300 339 140.

How Does it Work?

Best Rated Transport connects you with reputable transport companies using our unique trademarked one of a kind 7-point comparison.This includes removalists, general freight and other transport services. 

 

Best Rated Transport Online Directory acts as an online comparison platform to connect customers’ needs to the services of Transport Service Providers by facilitating information between both parties.

Using our platform is so easy too! You can compare removalists, machinery transport, general freight, boat and car transport as well as container transport or self-pack moves all in one place.

  2. Fill in your details and request quotes

  3. You will receive instant quotes (if available) or transporters will email you with their quotes after they have reviewed your needs 

  4. Log in to compare quotes, book and save!

  5. Manage quotes, view past and previous history and share your experience with a review.

How Do I…

Create a Login?

Register online for free at www.bestratedtransport.com.au/register

Create a username and password to your secure account. You will receive email communication from Best Rated Transport throughout the booking process.

Request a Quote?

From the Home Page, select ‘Start A Quote’

‘Select Transport Type’, ‘Select Move Date’ & ‘Get Your Quotes Started Today!’ to start the quote process.

Compare Transport Companies?

Best Rated Transport offers instant quotes on many services. If an instant quote is available for your move, then you can compare them instantly and book straight away. You can also log in to keep track of your quotes and make a decision later. 

If there are no instant quotes available for your move, then you will receive emails once transporters review your move and determine if they can help you. 

You can access these quotes via our Customer Log In. In your customer portal simply click on the ‘Response’ Tab. You will see the Best Rated verification tick – hover over the tick to compare.

Or click into the quote which will showcase all comparisons in detail. You may start receiving quotes within minutes. Your quotes are hand-picked to suit your transport needs. Sit back and relax while we do the hard work. You’ll be notified each time a quote is sent to your portal.

Book a Quote?

Responses Tab -> Quotes -> Accept Quote

Each Quote will have the requested deposit amount nominated by the transport company.  20% of the total would be requested as a deposit.

A deposit assures us your booking is going ahead – we can then notify the transport company that you’re booked in and want to proceed!

You can compare deposit amounts in each individual quote as well.Your deposit is only released to the transport company after your booking scheduled date.

To pay the deposit, you can pay via Credit or Debit Card or Direct Deposit.

Download receipts or a tax invoice?

Easily keep track of your payment history with your “Invoices” tab. Download your invoice as a PDF instantly!

Leave a review?

After your booking scheduled date, you will be requested to leave a review about your experience on your chosen transport company. Please leave your review once the job is completed. You will also receive a small gift from Best Rated Transport for your honest review (sent to your email). 

All reviews provide transparency and help others to compare and choose the right Transporter for them.

I’ve accepted the quote and paid the deposit, what’s next?

I want to change my date or booking.

This is something you will need to discuss with the transport company directly. If you require any assistance getting in touch with them please give the team at Best Rated Transport a call and we can assist you.

 

I want to cancel my booking.

Before cancelling we recommend speaking with your selected transport company to arrange alternative dates / options. Any transaction fees charged by a Payment Provider are non-refundable. 

If you have made a

Standard Booking and wish to cancel, you may do so and obtain a refund of your Deposit if you provide us with notice of cancellation:
- at least 3 weeks before the move date; or
within 2 days of the date of payment of the Deposit.

Short Notice Booking and wish to cancel, you may do so and obtain a refund of the amount paid less your Deposit and any Payment Provider transaction fees. The Deposit and any transaction fees are non-refundable for all Short Notice Bookings

Short Notice Booking:  a Move where the Move Date is less than 5 days from Booking Confirmation.

Standard Booking:  a Move where the Move Date more than 5 days from Booking Confirmation.

If you encounter any problems during your booking service, the first step is to contact Best Rated Transport’s customer support team. You can reach us via:

Transport Concerns: 

If you encounter any problems during the transport of your belongings, your first step is to contact the transport company that you have booked with. 

If you cannot reach them, please contact Best Rated Transport on the number above. 

What Happens if My Stuff is Damaged? 

In the unfortunate event that your belongings are damaged during transport, here’s what to do:

  • Document the Damage: Take photos or videos of the damage as soon as you notice it.

  • Bring any damages to the attention of your Transport Company in a timely fashion

  • The Transport or removal company, depending on the situation, will evaluate the loss of damage and discuss your options. 

  • Our customer experience team may reach out to you directly to support you in any way we can.

What to do in the Event of a Complaint?

We value your feedback. We promote a high level of service and therefore if a removalist or transporter falls short of your expectations, we want to know about. 

  • Provide Feedback: Share details of your experience with our customer support team. 

  • Investigation: We will investigate the issue promptly and take necessary actions to address your concerns. We turn away 60% of transport companies who are not up to our standards and if we find that your experience was not what was expected, we will form an internal investigation and review to determine the next plan of action. 

  • Resolution: Depending on the situation, we may offer compensation or alternative solutions to resolve the issue. Resolution also includes removing the removalist from our platform permanently, supporting you with a claim through the office of fair trading if necessary and being supportive of further action you may wish to take.

We review all feedback to monitor the customer experience. We encourage our movers to leave a review of the transport company through their portal.
